Adelaide Hills, 92 points, 4.5 stars Beautifully fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows white flesh nectarine, green rockmelon, lemon pith and sweet basil aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is elegantly weighted and vibrant. The wine offers pristine fruit intensity together with fine texture and refreshing acidity, leading to a lingering tasty finish. At its best: now to 2022 Reviewed: March 2019

Riposte The Sabre Pinot Noir 2016 Posted on 29 November 2018.  Riposte’s The Sabre Pinot Noir has been a pretty happy hunting ground over the years. Drinkability in spades. Juicy cherry and dried herb notes with flashes of musk and cedarspice. Feels satiny in the mouth for the most part though the finish is a little more rugged. Fruit offset by tang and spice. Nicely done. Rated : 90 Points
